I love foursquare - the location based social networking application. It’s like restaurant reviewing, swap card collecting and networking all in one. You check into locations on your iphone and the name of the game is to become your favourite location’s “Mayor”. Sure - it’s puerile, but I really want to be a Mayor! I was a little peeved when I found the Mayor of my office was actually Emily (who works with us part time). Anyway,as long as she stays part time, I’m sure to catch up to her soon.

The marketing applications for retailer are enormous, so if you’re looking for a way to lure people to your store, restaurant, bar, or whatever - I’d check it out.
