The Hotel Chelsea is a must-see if you’re in New York. You can’t help but get all creative and bo-ho while you’re there. One of our ex-Flauntettes Lois, stayed a few years back, and now it’s a regular haunt. This is a photo of their lobby, which has some amazing art, including a Brett Whiteley behind reception (along with many other artists, and writers, he lived there for a while). Check out the history of the Hotel before you go - they have a good and informative website - although I don’t think they mention the room where Sid Vicious stabbed his girlfriend Nancy.
